ALL FOOTBALL & CHEER FOR THE 2025 SEASON MUST HAVE A STATE ID

2025 ESR Information

Please take notice of the following news about your ESR 2025 Season!

·       Due to safety precautions of our players, we will no longer be allowing players to wear their own equipment.  There are liability issues that can be explained by your Commissioner, Coach Caine.  Please note:  this will take effect in 2026, therefore, players with new helmets in 2024, WILL be allowed to use their equipment for the 2025 Season.  

·       We plan on going back to purple helmets for all or most teams.  For anyone in need of having their personal helmet reconditioned, please see AD Fred with questions or concerns.  

·       A signed Waiver for any player providing their own equipment will be required for participation in any full-contact event.  

·       Registration fees for 2025 will not be increased and will remain the same for 2025!!  

·       Players are now required to have a State ID to register on any AYFL team, SMSB included.  The org will be issuing information on Mobile Secretary of State sites and any other special events that are used to assist you in obtaining your child's Michigan State ID.  

·       Our 2025 Registration package will be available on our website on February 10th, if there aren't any obstacles that prevent the update.  The site will allow for payments to be submitted.  

·       We are making plans that will guarantee 6 games minimum in the regular season.  Multiple suggestions have been brought to the table and we are thoroughly examining this matter!
